Volunteers and staff have been working hard on the Carbondale Aquatics Center, which will open in May 2026! This new facility will reflect Carbondale’s community values of sustainability, thanks to the master plan and input from Town staff and different community groups

Construction is wrapping up, but fundraising is still in full swing! Due to inflation, the current project costs are now $13.4 million. The Town set forth a fundraising goal of $2.5 million to help ensure subsidized memberships and programs, create a facility with zero greenhouse gases, and provide necessary updates to meet the ADA standard.
